Data received from the other micro-controller\/SBC\/computer can then be used in CASP models on host computer or can be visualized with the help of CASP GUI widgets such as plotters, dials, 2D\/3D graphs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This example project demonstrates how to establish WiFi communication between a Linux based SBC with on-board WiFi and the host (native) computer using CASP. We try to acquire analog periodic signal from the target board to the host PC through Ethernet and plot the signal on the host computer. UDP protocol is used for communicating between the target board and the host PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pre-Requisites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Raspberry Pi-4 or 5 SBC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">CASP software is installed along with CASP Python Libraries (optional).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Raspberry Pi BSP is installed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The project files are located at CASP installed directory \u2018CASP\/support\/examples\/communication\/6_linux_ip\u2019. Link:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/IlJL3tXhdeA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/IlJL3tXhdeA<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Run CASP and load the \u2018target_model\u2019 project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Open Home->Simulation->Setup Simulation Parameters menu item. Under TargetHW->Remote Build &amp; RTV tab set \u2018Remote Target IP Address\u2019 parameter to the IP address of the target and set \u2018Target ID\u2019 under TargetHW->General tab as explained in our video tutorial.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Click Run button to build and run on the target board.
