This feature allows developing models programmatically in Python and deploying them on the target with highly efficient and production ready code. This test project runs a simple Python script from CASP Python examples to validate whether CASP Python libraries are correctly installed and functional and whether the CASP Python libraries installed path is correctly added to the PYTHONPATH environment variable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pre-Requisites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">CASP software is properly installed and functional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Native compiler tool chain is installed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">CASP Python Libraries are installed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Model Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The Python script models a sine wave generator connected to a plotter and configures to run on native target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Procedure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Start CASP program, click Start button on top left corner and select \u2018Open Folders &gt; CASP User Data Folder\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"318\" height=\"274\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/aadhuniklabs.com\/casp-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image003.jpg?fit=318%2C274&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-209\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/aadhuniklabs.com\/casp-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image003.jpg?w=318&amp;ssl=1 318w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/aadhuniklabs.com\/casp-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image003.jpg?resize=300%2C258&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 318px) 100vw, 318px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">It opens \u2018casp_user_data\u2019 folder in the explorer. Navigate to \u2018casp_user_data\/pycasp\/examples\u2019 folder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Open operating system terminal (also called command prompt in Windows) from within the folder and run the Python script \u2018ex01_native_sine_wave.py\u2019 from the terminal by typing command: &gt;python ex01_native_sine_wave.py.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">CASP should start and run the model from the Python script.
