Workspace:

Workspace is an area where user draws a model/part of a model. Each workspace is saved on hard disk as separate file with extension .wsp. Larger models can be split into number of workspace files.

Project:

In CASP user does modelling and simulation with respect to a project. Project is a container for a model. Project consists of collection of workspace files representing a single model. More than one project can be loaded at a time. However, only the project that is Active (indicated by bold) can be simulated .
